Sunday afternoon, we toured several homes, decorated for Christmas, in our town.I'm featuring two of the homes as my contribution to Hooked on Houses Holiday House Tours. For more tours, click here or click on the Hooked on Houses button at the top of my sidebar, beginning Monday December 15th..
The first home was an attached villa.
The foyer was decorated with a village.
This is the room of the owner's granddaughter.
A silver and white tree in the living room.
Beneath the silver and white tree was this absolutely gorgeous hand crocheted tree skirt. A gift from a friend's mother.

A view of the master bedroom.
The second house was a stand alone home, done in a contemporary style.

This pretty tree, sitting inside a wreath is in the master bedroom.
Red and gold, in the living room
This tree is in the sunroom.
These glass ornaments are in the sunroom windows. Do you see the wreaths on the fence, in the background? Early Sunday morning, we saw someone crossing our yard, walking toward the white fence at the back of the property. The fence runs behind our home and two neighboring homes. One of our neighbors is a brother to the owner of the home on tour. A last minute decision to hang wreaths, on the pool fence, found them scrambling to borrow a few from the white fence, here.
The poinsettias on the dining room table were beautiful! An unusual color with a little sparkle added.
A St Louis Cardinals tree, in the bar area of the lower level.

Pat, what fun that you got to go on this tour! I loved all the little special touches in both houses, and I especially love those gorgeous trees!
That crochet work is pretty amazing, too (my oldest sister does crochet), and I loved those little ornament attached to that pillow. How clever!
Thanks so much for sharing this. I've loved getting to see what people are doing in their homes for Christmas.
XO,
Sheila :-)
It was fun getting to peek into these lovely homes and see their Christmas decorations Pat. Love the Cardinals and Rams trees!!!
What pretty houses on tour. I love to see the different styles people can come up with. There is no end to the beauty of Christmas. Thanks Miss Pat for taking us along....
You folk in the USA really know how to celebrate. We have nothing like this in the UK. What a beautiful day you must have had.
What a fun tour! I love Christmas home tours, but unfortunately, most of them haven't been continued in our area. They say it is too hard to find houses. How sad for the charities they previously supported. I've never seen crocheted stockings like that - they were great. Have a good week. Sally
Both homes are beautiful. I adore the hand crocheted tree skirtin the first home. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Terrie
It's always so much fun to peek into homes and see how others decorate - even if it isn't my style I can always learn something and always appreciate the loviness of their homes. Thanks for taking me along :).
Hugs - Karen

Hi Pat. Your post makes me want to redecorate my tree to do something different. How fun. I missed the homes tour in Macon. Don't know how but I did. We had a little sleet last night. More snow than Moberly. I left work extra early in case I had to clean off my car, but it wasn't bad at all. I just heard on the radio to expect 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow and rain tomorrow night. Sleet and freezing rain on Thursday. This is such a busy week for us I hope it ALL misses us!! Hopefully you'll miss it too.
Such nice photos of holiday decorating! Thanks Pat for the tour. Sure enjoyed it.
Brenda
